Day 32

We set out early this AM on foot 👫 Walked into town and to a grocery store to stock up.  It is 11:00, we just fueled up and are now underway. Headed for the Long Island Sound to a Marina abut 5 hours for us to get to.  
On our way out we went by this dude, never seen fishing done this way, looks like he is mowing. 😂

  Found out that he is stirring up the bottom with a rake, then attracting bait fish, and at the same time he slaps the water to attract larger fish;  who knew!   This is what cartoons are based on; Man trying to outsmart fish!!!

It's a beautiful day in Sandy Hook NJ, 66º, clear, 🌞, winds N 2-3 mph. Perfecto!  Except we will not be out in the ocean today. 

At 7:00 we are docked near Port Washington 
What a travel day we had, OMG

We went thru New York Harbor, up the East River, thru the Hell Gate and into The Long Island Sound. Some amazing sights along the way:

All the different architecture of buildings which are endless and all are unique. We traveled a different way than we did coming down. 

Always amazed at suspension bridges and we went under quite a few. The arch bridge pictured here was gorgeous.  So many boats, ferries, barges etc. all around us, causing some rock and rolling; fun though.  

🚁🚁🛩🛩🛬🛫🛥🛥⛴⛴⛴🚄🚅🚆Helicopters above, trains and trams above us too, planes jetting in all directions; we were both major over stimulated with it all 😳

Can't imagine living in this concrete world, just saying!🙈 Sure great to travel thru it though 😎
