Day 21

Pulled anchor at 6 AM and are now bobbing in the ocean heading to OC!  71ΒΊ in Kiptopke, Va with wind SE 3 to 5 mph
This is what our GPS looks like now:
We are the tiny black boat under the crosshairπŸ™ˆ
Weather gets messy this afternoon so we need to be tucked in by then. Now at 80 miles from Ocean City we are looking at a bale out plan; maybe Chincoteague, Va.
squirrel : this is a pic of an V-22 Osprey (part helicopter part plane)
Never get tired of seeing these wiz by
          So daunting looking!!!

Nine hours later, after a long, long bumpy ride in the ocean we are docked at a free public dock in Chincoteague, right downtown.πŸ™

It rained pretty much all day and we were 4 miles out. You can see the rain on the radar:
After about 15 minutes to dock this beast, as forceful  tides were against us and docking by ourselves, we are just happy to be in calm waters and still. Stella couldn't wait for a walk in the park πŸ’©πŸ’©πŸ’©

We noticed right away how deserted the shorelines and marinas are around here;  it certainly is not boating season yet.  Still warm and muggy though. We are the only ones here!!😎

It's 65ΒΊ, overcast, with 90% precipitation a coming.

Ocean City here we come!πŸ–πŸ¦€πŸŸ TOMORROW! 🀞
