Day 22

We  are staying put today, here at the Municipal Dock in Chincoteague, Va.  There is  a small craft advisory due to winds and waves.
 Not a bad place to be, it's  free hook up 🔌 and its situated downtown. Lots of little shops and restaurants to walk to. Free WiFi too!  
Did a little grocery shopping and saw this:

Have not had Cheerwine for a while. It's soda that tastes kind of like Dr. Pepper, but not.   Grew up drinking this! 😋

This afternoon one the the many geese that live here, was fouled  in fishing line.😢

Kenny yelled for me to help, and bring a knife.

He grabbed the line from the water and carefully pulled the goose to us. He grabbed its neck and removed the line that was wrapped around its wing as the poor thing flailed all around.  I cut, he pulled!

Kenny placed the freed goose on a  piling 

and there it sat for about 10 minutes, preening.

Fun!  We are out in the ocean in the AM to get to Ocean City.
