Day 15

We pulled anchor around 8:00 AM. The 🌞 is in and out, 69º, Wind ENE at 9 mph.  Here is a pic of the instruments we  constantly rely on:
Have to keep her in the white! 076º is our heading. The 9 on Ken's phone is our speed. Another tells us our depth.

This is the flip book we follow too. Magenta line is our path on the ICW. The ⚓ in gold circle lets us know we can safely anchor there for the night.

I wrote about this on the way down, it's just so interesting to me that I thought I would include it again. One of us is always checking: depth, speed, location...

Sometimes when we are in the thick of it and not sure what town we are close to, I ask Siri, who has an Australian guy voice

He  usually responds directly with the info, but not today😂
Had to screen shot this one😃

Yesterday we were blocked in by these guys, dredging
They made an opening for us to get through🙈

We will be anchoring again tonight, please stay tuned
Still seeing lots of damage from the September hurricane
Roofs have been ripped off

It is 6:00 pm and we found a 15-18 ' depth gut off the ICW, in North Topsail, NC.  Looks perfect for anchoring overnight even though it is not on the chart!⚓ Going to do some fishing, then make dinner, then night, night! Until tomorrow🙏😍
