Day 16

We are steaming down the C &; D; no FOG, crystal clear day. It's tee-shirt weather at 60ยบ๐Ÿ‘•๐Ÿ‘š But not for long.  Tonight the temp bottoms out all over the east coast. We are making hay today inasmuch as yesterday was a total fog out! Instead of lobster and crab pots we are  dodging driftwood LOGS๐ŸŒฒBig enough to do damage to the hull.
On the C & D

Not sure of our destination. In the Chesapeake soon!
Stay tuned๐Ÿ’
The canal is very choppy and muddy!
Think we would like to make Rockhall Maryland today.๐Ÿคž

For some reason every time I type  C  D the computer changes to c amp with ; on the end. I keep correcting it but it goes back. Going to try to put more space between the letters.

It is 11:30 and we are in the Elk River which is part of the channel.
We are rocking and rolling all over the place; very rough water!!
Gotta hold on!

It is now 3:15 and making good time; have passed Rock Hall and headed to Kent Narrows where our cousins live. Looking forward to seeing them! ๐Ÿ’•
We can see the Chesapeake Bay bridge and the water has finally calmed the heck down. Smooth Sailing, kinda?
Can't wait to have a hot shower!!๐Ÿšฟ We are very low on water and ALL of the marinas have their water turned OFF for the winter.๐Ÿ˜

4:00, at marina, we had  hot showers, doing boat chores then Cousin Skip and Sharon are going to pick us up for a night on the hard! ๐Ÿ› Good night Serenity.

  1. We stopped a little south of Rock Hall on the eastern shore of the Chesapeake @ https://www.herringtonharbour.com/south/
